By BrianM [December 12, 2011, 12:29 am]I did a lot of research before I purchased this TV, and it was worth every minute. Priced similar to lower definition smaller sets, this not only boasts full 1080p resolution, 22" size, a wide variety of inputs, and a HUGE contrast ratio, but it features smart tv options such as internet applications and wi-fi capability as well.
Several reviews complained of poor sound quality from the speakers, however; a quick adjustment of the sound e.q. sliders in the options and I could tune the sound to my own desires, now it sounds better than the set it is replacing by a mile!
I paid $189.99 for a refurbished set, and the only refurbishing I could detect was that the remote control seemed like it had maybe been used very briefly, the set itsself had all of the original scratch protection plastic on the case and base stand of the TV, all the cables, etc. were packaged and wrapped exactly as the factory would, and the TV was actually even in the original box! Don't fear saving money! Refurbished TVs almost always had nothing wrong with them (I have done warranty repairs, only about 6% of the returned products actually have any defects, most often they are returned because the consumer doesn't understand how to operate it correctly...)
