German Carbon Fiber Motorcycle Biker Cruiser Scooter Touring Half Helmet Neat looking helmet, sizing is a bit difficult though!

Thankfully I have read reviews on other helmets similar to this one & was aware that overall, they look pretty big due to all the padding inside. As one reviewer stated, 'Think Mushroom-head!' The overall quality of the helmet seems to be pretty good, but be aware that the 'padding' surround on the inside is hard rigid foam & not much cloth padding to boot. But I wanted a type of half-helmet so to speak simply because I hated wearing a full-faced helmet while just driving in town, which resulted in times where I just didn't wear a helmet at all (NOT recommended...more on that a bit later.)
The item description said to measure your head and compare it to the size-chart, but there was no size chart on the listing. I measured it & compared it to Jafrum's size chart and unfortunately, the 'large' size, in which my measurements fell, is too small for me. I measured & re-measured today but who knows, if this manufacturer had its own sizing chart, it might be different. This fact coupled with the quite-hard foam inside are the main reasons I gave the helmet 4 starts instead of 5.
I'll have to do a slight bit of modding to get it to fight right. I'll be carving out a little bit of the very rigid foam and inserting bits of memory foam in its place in hopes of a more comfortable fit that, well, actually fits! I'll be sure to come back & post an update when I'm done with this. I've already ordered another helmet from Jafrum but it was a full-face design to replace my current full-face helmet that I was wearing when I totaled my old bike! This is exactly why I do NOT recommend riding a bike without a helmet, and highly highly highly recommend finding a helmet that you LIKE and WILL wear when riding.
